We are growing, and looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to assist with Fund Administration and corporate accounting work. It is a new role that will report to the Director of Finance and work across the organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain Fund and GP general ledgers including, but not limited, to recording quarterly expenses, intercompany payables & receivables, investment transactions, portfolio marks and allocations to the limited partners for internally managed equity funds
  • General oversight of fund administrators including coordinating capital calls, review of month-end accounting reporting package, performance calculations and investor statements.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for fund and GP entities
  • Lead collecting portfolio co. financials and investor reporting per the reporting timeline
  • Assist in coordinating annual fund audits and tax returns including review of K1s for all entities
  • Assist in corporate accounting operations as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies 


  • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience with 1 to 2 years at a family office, private equity or venture capital firm
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be authorized to work in US
