Marketing Manager, Credit

Our Credit team provides affordable and flexible working capital loans to high growth consumer brands.  You will be building the tools, processes and analyses to drive sound decision making throughout our program, including managing portfolio risk and performance. 

We are seeking an experienced professional with a track record of strong credit performance and the tools to maintain program health.  The position requires an entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset, ready to build something new. Location: San Francisco, CA 

Reporting To:  Managing Director, Growth 


  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies that leverage Helio, our technology platform, to identify and nurture promising leads for our credit business. 
  • Optimize borrower engagement funnel, including segmentation, first-time user experiences, retention, cross-sell and re-engagement
  • Create and iterate on email marketing campaigns and transactional emails for borrower outreach
  • Define messaging and voice that is consistent across all channels, including onsite, collateral, performance marketing and events
  • Lead marketing activities that maintain a deep level of trust with our users

Successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Extremely resourceful self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Direct experience with customer research, qualitative tools for identifying and segmenting attractive customers 
  • Ability to craft clear and articulate communication, both written and visual
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with A/B experiments and cohort analyses
  • 3+ years of experience with a proven track record of user growth
  • SQL skills preferred
  • High on integrity, grit, growth mindset, and compassion
