Technical Data Program Manager

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead our data acquisition work stream. This role is responsible for ensuring that CircleUp is maintaining its information advantage to achieve its mission in helping entrepreneurs thrive. 

This individual will partner closely with Product Managers, Data Science and Engineering to identify data gaps, build business relationships with data vendors, evaluate, prioritize, and implement new data sources with the Data Acquisition team. This is a highly collaborative role where communication is critical and keen interest in working on complex business and technical challenges is a must. The ideal candidate will have the creativity and resiliency to deliver results, solve ambiguous problems, and help drive product decisions.This role reports into the Product and Technology organization.

  • Experienced managing third party data relationships, procuring new data sources for testing and product integration.
  • Experience creating prioritization frameworks and evaluation criteria to effectively test and validate new data sources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in Product, Engineering and Data Science, Business Development
  • Action and detail-oriented with the ability to work fluently with large and diverse datasets
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and to derive workable actions
  • Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm
  • Excellent relationship building skills
