Product Marketing Manager, Credit

Our Credit team provides affordable and flexible working capital financing to high-growth consumer brands.  As the first marketing hire for CircleUp Credit Advisors, you will not only get to set the marketing strategy, but also put it into motion.

We're looking for someone who feels deep empathy for our borrowers, seeks truth in data and can translate the combination of the two into an amazing borrowing experience, from crafting a user's first touch with CircleUp to helping our own passionate customers get the word out.

This role is ideal for someone who likes to exercise both the right and left sides of their brain. You will partner with Business Development, Operations and Underwriting teams to accelerate the growth of our lending program, while bringing the voice of the customer into business decision and planning processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies that leverage Helio, our technology platform, to identify and nurture promising leads for our credit business.
  • Architect and optimize borrower engagement, including segmentation, first-time user experiences, retention, cross-sell and re-engagement
  • Create and iterate on email marketing campaigns and transactional emails for borrower outreach
  • Define messaging and voice that is consistent across all channels, including onsite, collateral, performance marketing and events
  • Lead marketing activities that maintain a deep level of trust with our users

Key Qualifications

  • Relentlessly resourceful self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Direct experience with customer research, qualitative tools for identifying and segmenting attractive customers
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with A/B experiments and multi-variate testing
  • Ability to craft clear and articulate communication, both written and visual
  • 3+ years of experience with a proven track record of user growth
  • SQL skills preferred
