Daniel Tseng

Daniel Tseng joined CircleUp in 2020 and serves as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. He brings 15+ years of experience as a M&A and corporate lawyer from the private equity, alternative investments and financial services sectors. Prior to CircleUp, Daniel acted as SVP, Divisional General Counsel at Two Sigma, a quant hedge fund in New York City, serving as strategic advisor and overseeing the legal, risk and compliance function for an internal business division. Before Two Sigma, Daniel served as one of the head corporate lawyers and the Global Chief M&A Counsel at The Travelers Companies, Inc. He began his legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he served as a senior lawyer in the M&A group, advising private equity and corporate clients on domestic and international transactions. 

Daniel received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
