Rory Eakin

Rory Eakin is a Co-founder and Board Director of CircleUp, an investment platform powered by technology. He served as COO from 2011-2019, overseeing the organization’s Finance, Legal, HR and Operations work, setting policies and corporate direction as well as directly managing a majority of the executive leadership team.  Prior to CircleUp, Rory served as Director of Investments at Humanity United, a foundation dedicated to cultivating the conditions for enduring freedom and peace.  He started his career in the classroom, working as a math teacher at the University of Cape Town for two years. 

Rory received his MBA from Stanford as well as a public policy degree from Princeton, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Cape Town.
